Student Schedules:

Students will be able to access their class schedules on the evening of August 20th by visiting https://MyPlan.powayusd.com or StudentVue.  Log in with your PUSD login, click on the Canvas icon, and you will see a  tile for each class your student(s) are enrolled in.  If you do not know or have forgotten your PUSD login information, please visit https://password.powayusd.com.

Please note: It is possible that these assignments may change due to changes in enrollment.

Before School Supervision:
The gates to the school open 20 minutes before the first bell.  No supervision will be provided before 7:40 (8:40 on Wednesdays) so students should not arrive at school before this time. Once students arrive, they may not leave campus unless a parent or other authorized person comes to the office to sign them out. To ensure the safety of our children, you will be required to show identification when you pick up your child.
School Breakfast/ Lunch:
PUSD provides breakfast and lunch to all students free of charge pursuant to the California Universal Meals Program.  Free meals are available to all families, regardless of their free or reduced-price meal eligibility status. Breakfast service will begin at 7:40 am (8:40 on Wednesdays).

Meal program details are provided on the Food and Nutrition Department website at https://powayusdnutrition.com/.  Families are still encouraged to submit a school meal application for free and reduced-priced meal benefits because this information may be used for other programs such as Federal and State funding for our school, reduced registration fees for academic tests, free or discounted fees for bus passes, athletic programs, and discounted rates for internet service and many more!  The application can be found online at https://www.myschoolapps.com/ . Applications must be submitted on an annual basis.

Medication at School:
If your child requires medication at school, the “Authorization for Medication Administration” form must be completed and signed by a CA physician and parents.  The form can be located per the link below.  All medication must be provided in the original container along with the completed medical form by an adult to the school site on or before the first day of school.  This form is required for all prescription and over-the-counter medications including but not limited to supplements, cough drops, inhalers, acetaminophen & ibuprofen, etc.  If your child needs to self-carry a medication, please contact Tatiana Braga, our health technician at [email protected] for guidance.

For children with allergies, please provide the Life-Threatening Allergy form signed by a CA physician and parents along with an epi-pen to the health office by the first day of school.

Pick-Up/Drop Off Procedures:

Please make sure you are dropping off students in the designated drop-off zones only. This is critically important to ensure the safety of students in our parking lot and surrounding areas. Cars turning onto Winecreek Road should follow the flow of traffic into the parking lot until you reach the designated drop-off area. Cars must wait and move as far forward as possible to expedite the process. Staff are present in the morning and afternoon to help.

At the end of Winecreek Road is an entrance to the Ivy Gate community. This is a private road. Please respect our neighbors and do not use this road for making U-turns, waiting to pick up your student, or parking. Law Enforcement will issue tickets to individuals who are not obeying traffic rules.

The section of Carmel Valley Road between Dove Canyon and Winecreek is a Three-Minute Drop-Off/Pick only. There is no extended parking allowed here. Please use caution as you stop to drop off/pick up your student as there is also a floating bike lane along the road. Please do not double park to allow your student to enter or exit your vehicle.

We look forward to seeing you on the first day of school!

Sincerely,
OVMS Administration
